Cooperation established with the Central Bank of Armenia
A Memorandum of Cooperation has been signed between the Central Bank of Uzbekistan and the Central Bank of Armenia.
The document provides for cooperation in the areas of monetary policy, payment systems, financial technologies, project and data management, and the supervision of banks and non-bank credit institutions.
The interaction between the two countries' principal financial regulators aims to foster professional dialogue among banks, organize joint meetings, seminars, and study visits, and promote the exchange of knowledge and best practices.
The Memorandum also establishes specific principles for information exchange that facilitate cooperation on a lawful and effective basis, while strictly observing confidentiality.
