Hokim of Fergana region Khayrullo Bozorov met with the leadership of Incheon Metropolitan City of the Republic of Korea.

The parties discussed the issue of developing economic and investment relations between Fergana region and Incheon city, as well as effective cooperation in the socio-cultural sphere.

An agreement was reached on the development of interregional cooperation between Incheon, which is the center of international business, economy and industry, and Fergana region. Views were exchanged on accelerating the issue of establishing a direct flight from Incheon, where the largest airport in Korea is located, to Fergana.

The Korean side officially invited the Hokim of the region Khayrullo Bozorov to Incheon. The visit of the regional delegation to Incheon is scheduled for next year.

Following the meeting, an agreement was signed between Fergana region and Incheon on the establishment of a twinning relationship between the regions, which provides for large-scale cooperation in trade, investment, science, education, culture, art, sports, tourism and other areas.

At the meeting with TDC leadership, who arrived as part of the Incheon delegation, the prospects for cooperation in fire and industrial safety between the Hokimiyat of Fergana region and the company were discussed.

At the meeting, issues related to the implementation of the project of a modern preschool education institution based on an innovative educational system and specializing in learning English at a high level, which will be built in Fergana by Edulink Global, were also discussed.
