Cooperation enhances to ensure public safety

The Institute for Advanced Study of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference on “Constitutional and legal guarantees for ensuring public security”.

At the conference, which was attended by representatives of state and public organizations, ministries, several higher education institutions, a memorandum was signed between the Institute for Advanced Study of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Tashkent City Criminal Court.

According to the memorandum, it is planned to establish close cooperation in the introduction of modern information and communication technologies into the educational process in the development of curricula and programs for training and retraining personnel in crime prevention and public safety, develop innovative and technological ideas, evidence-based conclusions and recommendations for improvement of legislation and law enforcement practice.

At the event, reports were heard on “Improving the legal mechanisms for the implementation of constitutional norms to ensure public security”, “Prospects for the constitutional development of Uzbekistan”, “Constitutional and legal foundations for the implementation of the principle “Well-maintained and safe mahalla” and “The Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the development of human rights”.

Based on the opinions and judgments of representatives and specialists of the sphere, several proposals and recommendations have been developed, and upcoming priority tasks have been outlined.
