A delegation of South Korean businesspeople led by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Korea Uzbekistan Business Association Kim Chang-Keon met with Akmaljon Makhmudaliyev, Acting Hokim of Syrdarya region, in Gulistan.

The parties exchanged views on the prospects for cooperation. It was noted with satisfaction that as a result of interaction, practical results are achieved in agriculture, industrial production, education, emergency response, as well as the implementation of urban planning norms in the region by South Korean standards.

At the meeting, views were exchanged on the implementation of specific projects. In particular, the parties discussed a project of creating a smart city with many advantages in the regional center.
