This was emphasized at a ceremonial event organized by the Embassy of India in Tashkent on the occasion of Republic Day.

Diplomats and media representatives took part in the event.

Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, attended the event as an honored guest.

The official opening of the event began with the performance of the national anthems of India and Uzbekistan. A message of greeting from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Uzbekistan, Smita Pant, was read out. It highlighted the main achievements in relations between India and Uzbekistan over the past year, as well as India’s success in various fields.

As part of the event, a cultural program was presented, featuring Uzbek and Indian songs.
