Employees of Fergana regional branch of the Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan met in Urumqi with representatives of the Xinjiang Branch of CNS.

It was noted that relations between Uzbekistan and China are developing dynamically in many areas.

“Our news is published in the mass media of Uzbekistan, including the Fergana region”, says Li Dehua, Director of the Xinjiang Branch of CNS. “Materials from Uzbekistan on ongoing reforms, the progressive development of bilateral relations, as well as enterprises operating with the participation of Chinese capital, are posted on the Internet resources of the CNS. We are interested in strengthening and expanding our cooperation and would be glad to welcome Fergana journalists to the Aksu Media Forum next year”.

Representatives of the Fergana regional branch of the Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan invited their Chinese colleagues to take part in Navruz celebrations in 2026, as well as in the third international conference “Integration of journalism of the New Uzbekistan into international traditions”, to be held in Fergana.

Following the meeting, a roadmap for cooperation was approved.
