A delegation led by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Kuchkarov visited Kabul to develop cooperation with Afghanistan further.
According to the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, products manufactured in Uzbekistan were presented at the “Made in Uzbekistan” exhibition organized at the Afghanistan International Business Center. The leadership and responsible employees of the Agency took part in it, and a demonstration of more than 300 types of products took place. B2B meetings and talks were held between representatives of the two countries’ business circles.
Pharmaceutical Services Director of the Ministry of Public Health of Afghanistan Hamid Furmuly proposed simplifying the registration of supplies of medicines and products manufactured in Uzbekistan to Afghanistan. In this matter, practical assistance will be provided in establishing cooperation with the National Association for Food and Drug Control of Afghanistan, which has the authority to register medical products.
