Carlos Uriarte Sánchez, Professor of Law at Rey Juan Carlos University, Advocate, Lawyer, Attorney-at-Law, visited Samarkand State University.

Issues of establishing new scientific and practical cooperation between the universities of Spain and Samarkand were discussed at the meeting.

A roundtable discussion was held with students of the Faculty of International Educational Programs of Samarkand State University. Professor Carlos Uriarte Sánchez spoke about the legal system of Europe, in particular Spain.

Following the event, Carlos Uriarte Sánchez was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of Samarkand State University.

Mr. Carlos Uriarte Sánchez said that in the future he intends to lecture the students of Samarkand State University in law, to cooperate with the University scientists in scientific research related to Central Asia.
