A press conference took place on the occasion of the establishment of the Association of Ombudsmen and National Human Rights Institutions of Turkic States.

Representative for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Feruza Eshmatova took part in the event.

Ombudsmen from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and members of the Turkish parliament noted that the establishment of the Association will serve to further strengthen cooperation.

Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States Binali Yıldırım congratulated everyone on the establishment of the Association and noted that there are many global and regional structures in the world. And this platform was created to ensure the cooperation of the Turkic peoples and is a logical continuation of the joint work.
