At the invitation of the FBI, a delegation led by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nigmatilla Yuldashev paid a working visit to the United States.

A meeting of the delegation of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Uzbekistan with the leadership of the Federal Bureau of Investigation took place.

The parties discussed issues of legal interaction, as well as promising areas for further cooperation between the departments of the two states.

The signing ceremony between the General Prosecutor’s Office of Uzbekistan and the U.S. FBI of the Action Plan for 2023-2026 was a significant event. A visit was also organized to the FBI National Academy. A meeting was held with the institution’s leadership.

The Uzbekistan delegation got acquainted with the activities of the educational institution, as well as the features of the system and teaching methods. In particular, the American side shared its experience in introducing modern information and communication technologies into the educational process, which is one of the main ways to modernize the education system.

The parties agreed to enhance collaboration in increasing human resources, particularly establishing further relations between the Law Enforcement Academy of Uzbekistan and the U.S. FBI National Academy.
