Director of IT Park Uzbekistan Farkhod Ibragimov has met with Malaysia’s Fusionex Group Program Director Raymond Lee.

At a meeting organized with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia, F. Ibragimov provided the Malaysian side with detailed information on the reforms carried out in information technology in Uzbekistan, the benefits provided to its residents and foreign companies in the IT Park Uzbekistan.

The activities of IT Park Uzbekistan in 2018-2022 were also discussed during the presentation. It was noted that the export of information technology services last year amounted to $100 million, and by 2028 it is planned to increase this figure to $1 billion.

During the talks, cooperation between IT Park Uzbekistan and Fusionex Group was also discussed, in particular, the use of the services of the Uzbek side for business process outsourcing.

Representatives of Fusionex Group held a real-time presentation of the project to create a Digital Free Trade Zone in Uzbekistan. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to carefully study the prospects for cooperation.
