Cooperation between IICA and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan enhances

In Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, the Director of the International Institute for Central Asia (IICA) Javlon Vakhabov met with the Rector of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Akylbek Kylychev.

The activities of the academy established in 2001, the founder of which was the Government of Kyrgyzstan, represented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, were presented.

The leadership of this education institution highly appreciated the Government of Uzbekistan’s attention to carrying out deep reforms in higher education, improving the country's system of retraining personnel, modernizing the system of higher and secondary specialized education, introducing modern forms and technologies of education, and developing science and research programs.

The parties expressed interest in exchanging experts and researchers, developing and implementing modern methods for training specialists in foreign policy, international relations, and law, joint research on contemporary foreign policy and internal socio-economic processes in Central Asia, and publishing joint publications.

An agreement was reached to establish cooperation by signing a corresponding Memorandum between IICA and the Diplomatic Academy.
