Contest of active women with initiative
At the national press center, the Tashkent city stage of the "most active woman of the Uzbekistan People's Democratic Party" contest has taken place.
At the national press center, the Tashkent city stage of the "most active woman of the Uzbekistan People's Democratic Party" contest has taken place.The chairman of the Tashkent city council of the Uzbekistan People's Democratic Party, H.Bobohonov, and others have said that constant attention is being paid in this country to raising women's social political activeness and their law culture, to developing their firm civic position and to creating conditions for them to exercise their constitutional rights and liberties.
Today more than twenty thousand women and girls in the capital city are members of the Uzbekistan People's Democratic Party. Among them, representative's of the science, education, health care, production and services spheres account for a majority.
This contest is of important significance to raising women's activeness in further extending democratic reforms in the country, identifying women who have high political knowledge and organisational ability and attracting them to the party's system. 12 women and girls who achieved victories in the lower stages of the contest participated in the city stage of the contest.
The participants first presented projects on the social political development of territories, the creation of permanent jobs for women and girls and the increasing of family enterprise experience. In the second part entitled "our laws are the basis of our lives", their knowledge about laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan were tested. In the political awareness part, their political knowledge and articulacy mastery were evaluated.
In the contest, a teacher of the Olmazor medical college, Nilufar Sobiijonova, took first place and is through to the republican stage of the contest.
