The Tashkent city stage of the Young Politician - 2016 contest has concluded. It was held by the Istiqbol youth wing of the Uzbekistan People’s Democratic Party.

The Tashkent city stage of the Young Politician - 2016 contest has concluded. It was held by the Istiqbol youth wing of the Uzbekistan People’s Democratic Party.

The chairman of the Tashkent city council of the Uzbekistan People’s Democratic Party. H. Bobokhonov, and others have said that special attention is being paid under the leadership of the President of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov, to creating the necessary conditions for young people to get modern education and acquire professions and to widely display their talent and potential as well as to supporting their aspirations and initiatives.

The Young Politician contest serves as an important means of raising the younger generation’s political and legal culture and of solidifying their civic responsibility.

Twelve lads and girls who had been found the most gifted participated in the Tashkent city stage of the contest.

“The number of lads and girls desiring to participate in this contest is increasing with every passing year,” says an active member of the Istiqbol youth wing, U. Bektemirov.

Jurors were appraising those young politicians’ performance. A student of the Tashkent pharmaceutics institute, Abduvohid Fazliddinov, reached first place and earned the right to participate in the republican stage of the contest.

Winners were determined on such nominations as the most resourceful participant, the best participant and the most articulate participant, and special diplomas and memorable prizes were given to them.
