Young scientists and undergraduates, conducting research in agriculture and water management, made reports during the event with participation of responsible employees of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan Youth Union, professors and teachers of the Institute.

At the presentations, special attention was paid to the issues of improvement of ameliorative condition of irrigated lands and effective water management in conditions of water scarcity, protection of ecology and environment, modernization of hydraulic structures, constructions for water raising, as well as ensuring their safety. Problems of effective using land resources, personnel training for agriculture and water management were also discussed.

Practical proposals aimed at modernization of agriculture, supporting and encouragement of young scientists, as well as recommendations for implementation of innovative ideas and developments were developed at the event. Authors of the best reports and scientific articles were revealed, diplomas and memorable gifts from organizers were presented.
