Tashkent hosts major International Law Spring forum.

The event is organized by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the United Nations Development Programme in Uzbekistan, Gazprombank and other partners.

The forum brought together more than 1,000 representatives conducting their activities in jurisprudence from 37 countries such as England, Austria, Azerbaijan, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Turkey, and France.

Contemporary International LawIt was noted that public-private partnership is being actively implemented in Uzbekistan, which is already widely used in solving problems in preschool education. Currently, PPP is being implemented in healthcare and construction. In foreign countries, there are different approaches to the definition of a private partner, for example, in Russia, only a Russian legal entity can be a private partner, and in Kazakhstan, apart from legal entities, there can be individual entrepreneurs. Singapore’s Constitution does not regulate the right to private property, but the country’s investment attractiveness is high.

Within two days, presentations will be made on the investment climate of Uzbekistan, ongoing reforms in public services, roundtable discussions on forensic expertise and notariate, master classes on law firm management and investment projects management will be held.

Following the forum, the winners will be awarded in the nominations “Best Lawyer of the Year”, “Best Corporate Law Service”.
