The ceremony of laying foundation stone of the institution was attended by officials of state and public organizations, general public and mass media workers.
Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan M.Yerniyazov and others noted that activities on increasing intellectual potential of youth, creating necessary conditions for widespread manifestation of their talent and abilities are yielding positive results.
The main purpose of this educational institution is to identify talented youth from all regions and create necessary conditions for their further development. The school, which will select the most talented students, will teach in-depth mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, information technology and foreign languages.
Highly qualified domestic and foreign teachers will be involved, all conditions for their effective activity will be created. 60-80 percent of school teachers will be foreign specialists.
First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan O. Ramatov and Prosecutor General O. Murodov attended the event dedicated to beginning of construction of the Presidential School.
