In the village of Sangardak in Surkhandarya region, widely known for its stunning waterfall, construction has already started on another modern tourist complex. The project was developed by the Austrian company INPUT Projektentwicklungs-GmbH.
The complex incorporates functional and environmentally sustainable solutions and will be implemented on a 16-hectare site amid picturesque mountains, taking into account the terrain, natural landscape, and the region’s recreational potential.

In accordance with the Presidential Decree “On measures to improve tourism infrastructure and construct modern service and tourism facilities in the mountain-recreational zones of Surkhandarya region” of December 16, 2024, over 913 billion UZS are planned to be allocated for the construction of the Sangardak Tourist Center, covering a total area of 615 hectares.

According to the master plan developed by experienced specialists, the tourist center will feature 21 restaurants, cafés, and bars, 296 retail outlets, four three-star hotels, two five-star hotels, ten guest houses, a sanatorium, a cultural leisure zone, a 1.6-kilometer-long cable car, a zipline track, and designated picnic areas.
At present, the land plots selected for the project are being gradually put up for auction.
