The Ministry of Emergency Situations hosted a meeting to discuss the course of constitutional reforms.

At the event, opinions were expressed that the large-scale goals and objectives outlined in the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for building a humane state, ensuring reliable protection of human rights and interests, honor and dignity give rise to the need to create a new constitutional and legal space corresponding to those fundamental reforms implemented in the country.

It was noted that the Constitutional Commission has established systematic work to accept and consider the opinions and proposals of the population, as a result of which not only scientists, lawyers and specialists, but also citizens themselves are directly involved in the process of constitutional reforms.
