According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan, talks were held with representatives of the foreign ministry, parliament and the expert community.

Issues of further developing multifaceted and mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed, and practical steps were outlined to deepen interaction at the meeting with the Minister of State for the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia and United Nations at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), Lord Ahmad of Wimbledon.

Talks were held with John Francis McFall, Lord Speaker of the House of Lords of the UK Parliament. The parties discussed the state and prospects for enhancing inter-parliamentary ties. The sides noted the importance of developing inter-parliamentary dialogue and parliamentary diplomacy in overcoming the main problem of the modern world – the lack of mutual trust and growing tension.
