The national teams of Uzbekistan and India met in Doha as part of the second round of the Asian Cup.

In this match, held at the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium, the apprentices of Srečko Katanec defeated their opponents with a score of 3:0. The winning goals for the team were scored by Abbos Fayzullayev, Igor Sergeyev and Sherzod Nasrullayev. Thus, the Uzbekistan team increased the number of points to 4 and took second place in the group.

Also, in the Group B match, the Australian team beat the Syrian team with a score of 1:0. This victory took Australia into the next round with 6 points.

The Uzbekistan national team will play its next match on January 23 against Australian football players.
