According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the International Conference “Afghanistan: Security and Economic Development”, which will be held in Tashkent on June 25-26, will be attended by special representatives of the European Union, the UK, Iran, Italy, Spain, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, China, Norway, Pakistan, Russia, United States, Türkiye, Japan and other countries on Afghanistan, heads of relevant bodies of the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Economic Cooperation Organization.

A delegation of the Interim Government of Afghanistan led by the Acting Foreign Minister of Afghanistan Amir Khan Muttaqi will also take part in the event for the first time. In total, about 100 representatives will attend the conference.
