At the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the eighth Italian Design Day will be held in Italy.

In the Tashkent House of Photography, in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Uzbekistan and the Italian Trade Agency, a conference was organized on the work in design and restoration.

Ambassador Agostino Pinna spoke about the connection between industry and culture and the attractiveness of the Uzbekistan market for Italian companies.

As part of the event, a photo exhibition was presented, telling about the features of Italian design through vases of different styles and eras.

A technical agreement was signed between the Italian Trade Agency and the Cultural Heritage Agency of Uzbekistan regarding the organization of the Uzbekistan – Italy Restoration Center in Bukhara. This document, which determined the special significance of the event, is aimed at implementing the agreements reached during the high-level visits held in 2023.

The center’s main task is to study Italian experience, scientific potential, and methodology to support the development of restoration work in Uzbekistan.
