Conference dedicated to the development of Uzbekistan’s art market
As part of the Fourth Tashkent International Biennale of Applied Art, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Panorama of Applied Art: Traditions and Art Market” was held at the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.
Art scholars from Uzbekistan, Russia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia attended the conference.

The event was opened by Doctor of Art History, Professor Kamola Akilova, who delivered a speech on “Traditional artistic crafts and the art market of Uzbekistan: historical background, modern trends, and development problems”.

The conference also included exchanging views and proposals on preserving traditions in market conditions, the artistic quality of works, pricing on the global art market, and other issues.
