Nukus hosted a Republican Kurash Tournament among teenagers dedicated to the memory of Qidirboy Jusipbekov.

109 talented young wrestlers fought for the victory.

Mirzakarim Jienboyev, Sultonbek Olimboyev, Jasur Omonboyev from Muynak district, Nurasil Urolboyev, Sherzod Medetboyev, Ruslan Toliboyev from Nukus, Boybek Adaubayev from Kungrad district won in their weight categories. Shukhrat Abilakov and Iklos Kenesboyev from Nukus College of Olympic and Paralympic Reserve also won.

The winners were awarded diplomas, medals and special prizes from the Karakalpak branch of Uzbekistan Kurash Federation and the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
