The republican stage of the competition of storytellers – bakhshi is held in the Karakalpak State Theater of Young Spectators within the framework of the Second Bakhshi International Art Festival.

Almost 70 bakhshi from all regions of the country are participating in the competition. Their skills are evaluated by a jury, which includes art historians and people’s bakhshi of Uzbekistan.
