Deputy Minister of Physical Culture and Sports Sharifjon Muminjonov noted that the tournament for the Minister’s Cup is organized by the Ministry in order to provide meaningful leisure activities for youth and playing sports during the winter holidays.

18 thousand young athletes of Tashkent are fighting for victory in sports such as basketball, badminton, volleyball, table tennis and futsal.

According to the competition regulations, championships among makhallas and education institutions will be held on December 25-30 this year, the district stage – on January 2-5, and Tashkent City – on January 6-10, 2019.

Winners of the tournament will be awarded on January 10, 2019.
