This was confirmed again at the Andijon Regional phase of the republican science Olympiad among students of secondary special education and vocational training establishments.

“The Olympiad was held at a high level. In order for students to display their knowledge to the full extent, the auditoriums were equipped to modern requirements,” says F.Buzrukov, acting chief of the regional directorate for secondary special education and vocational training.

1154 first-year and second-year students of 12 academic lyceums and 117 vocational training colleges in the region had their knowledge of 14 subjects tested. 28 best of them obtained the right to participate in the republican science Olympiad.

“At the regional phase of the geography Olympiad, I scored the highest number of points and thus justified the hopes of my teachers. My goal is to win in the republican Olympiad and to become a qualified specialist in future and to make a contribution to the development of the country,” says Sarvinoz Sotvoldiyeva, a student of the Andijon industrial-teaching college.
