In accordance with the “Concept for the organization of advanced training for members of commissions for holding early elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, approved by the resolution of the Central Election Commission, training and practical courses are held for members of precinct election commissions.

Such training was also organized for members of 90 precinct election commissions formed in Pastdargom district.

“On May 29-30 this year, workshops and trainings were organized in all regions of our country”, says Latif Rustamov, a member of the 7th Samarkand district election commission. – Now, these trainers train chairpersons, deputies, and secretaries of precinct election commissions. To organize and conduct high-level training courses, highly qualified experts prepared educational and methodological materials through lectures, assignments, tests, presentations, infographics, and video tutorials.

During the trainings, based on the “Educational and practical guide on electoral legislation and practice”, the norms of legislative acts on the election of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, issues of organizing the activities of election commissions and their powers, and working with the list of voters were explained.
