The Ministry of Justice cooperates with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). The knowledge and skills of local business entities in this area are being improved.

As a part of this collaboration, the WIPO textbook “Commercialization of Ideas” was translated into Uzbek and adapted to the national intellectual property system.

The guide separately reveals the role of intellectual property in business and innovative ways of using it.

The textbook also reflects the concepts of trademarks, geographical indications, trade secrets, and intellectual property objects. It contains cases of local business entities turning their goods and services into brands.
