Uzbekistan climbers have climbed to the highest point of the country, a peak with a height of 4668 meters located in Surkhandarya region.

The ascent with the country’s flag is timed to coincide with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s 67th birth anniversary.

The climbers proposed to name the peak “New Uzbekistan”.
