According to the National Statistics Committee, a total of 9,500 foreign nationals visited Uzbekistan for educational purposes between January and June 2025.

This figure represents an increase of 1,400 people, or 17.3%, compared to the same period last year.

During this period, international students arrived in Uzbekistan primarily from the following top 10 countries:

India – 2,780 people;

Turkmenistan – 2,622 people;

Tajikistan – 1,145 people;

China – 459 people;

South Korea – 381 people;

Pakistan – 348 people;

Kyrgyz Republic – 263 people;

United States – 232 people;

Afghanistan – 167 people;

Türkiye – 161 people;

Other countries – 988 people.
