Chirchiq Chemical-Industrial Technopark launched

The opening ceremony of Chirchiq Chemical-Industrial Technopark was held in Tashkent region.

It was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, heads of ministries, agencies and organizations of Uzbekistan and Tatarstan, representatives of chemical and petrochemical industry, entrepreneurs and the general public.

The honored guests and participants got acquainted with the presentation, the territory, the possibilities of Chirchiq Chemical-Industrial Techno Park, as well as the exhibition of products of its residents.

It was emphasized that the implementation of such initiatives these days, when the national holiday of Navruz is widely celebrated in the country, will primarily serve to ensure the well-being of people.

A symbolic button was pressed and the activity of the Chirchiq Chemical-Industrial Techno Park officially started. Businesspeople and responsible persons of the two countries signed documents on the implementation of projects on its territory.

The total area of the technopark is 31.22 hectares. At the first stage, it is planned to establish the activities of 14 enterprises. Over 100 types of products will be produced here. A full-fledged launching of the technopark will create over 2,000 new jobs and export products worth $15 million annually.

Modern equipment imported from more than 10 countries, including Russia, Germany, Korea, Turkey and China, is installed at the enterprises in the technopark. It is noteworthy that all the industrial facilities meet environmental requirements. Industrial and administrative buildings, warehouses are provided with the necessary engineering infrastructure.

$30 million will be allocated for the construction of all complexes.
