At the meeting with the Deputy khokim of Samarkand region on the issues of tourism development M.Voseyev, further development of cooperation in the field of tourism between Uzbekistan and China, effective use of available opportunities and potential in this direction were considered. Views were exchanged on increasing the flow of Chinese tourists to Samarkand, attracting investments for improving the local tourism infrastructure.

Detailed information was given on measures for development of a number of tourist routes in Samarkand, benefits and opportunities provided by the state for representatives of the sphere, as well as for the tourist zone “Samarkand City-1”. The forthcoming joint projects in this direction were discussed.
