Chinese FM to attend Tashkent International Conference
A delegation of China led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi will take part in the upcoming High-Level International Conference “Central and South Asia: Regional Connectivity. Challenges and Opportunities” to be held on 15-16 July.
According to Xinhua News Agency, a member of the PRC State Council, Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan on 12-16 July. Mr. Wang Yi will also attend several multilateral meetings.
Minister Wang Yi will also take part in a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) countries, in a meeting of foreign ministers within the framework of the SCO – Afghanistan contact group, as well as in the International Conference on “Central and South Asia: Regional Connectivity. Challenges and Opportunities”.
