Members of the delegation, led by the Rector of the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sport, Rashid Matkarimov, are currently in China. They are getting acquainted with the advanced aspects of sports education in this country, the new teaching format, and the learning process.

Uzbekistan sports delegation members met with Chinese sports education representatives led by the Rector of Beijing Sport University, Zhang Jian, to enhance the relationship and introduce best practices.

The parties discussed the current state and development of relations not only between the two universities but also between Uzbek and Chinese sports in general, the training of qualified personnel, adaptation of the educational process to international standards, digitalization of the management system, improving the quality of research work, and the implementation of the transfer of sports and educational technologies. Views were exchanged regarding upcoming promising projects.

Following the meeting, the Beijing Sport University team noted that they are ready to provide practical assistance in developing sports education in Uzbekistan.
