The Tashkent delegation led by Acting Hokim of Tashkent city Shavkat Umurzakov visited BYD and its subsidiary Shenzhen Bus Group in Shenzhen, China.

The guests were informed about the history and activities of the company, the City Situation Center, which manages the city’s public transport and taxi system.

As part of the visit, a meeting was held with the BYD President Wang Chuanfu.

Mr. Umurzakov emphasized the importance of studying its activities and extensive experience in managing public transport, as well as improving the qualifications of specialists in this field.

The company’s president said that work on constructing factories in two regions of Uzbekistan is proceeding at an active pace, and he is interested in further enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation.

To clearly define the work, he proposed creating a working group, developing a joint program, and collaborating to provide the public utility sector with modern technology.
