China will provide $500 million in aid to the Central Asian countries over the next three years.

At the Central Asia – China Online Summit, the Chinese President Xi Jinping said that the aid is provided for the implementation of socially significant projects.

According to China Daily, President Xi Jinping also said that the country would offer 5,000 places at seminars and workshops to help Central Asian countries train professionals in fields including health, poverty reduction for agricultural development and information technology.
