Uzbekistan delegation attends Hainan Island International Film Festival in Sanya. This year, 1495 applications from 80 countries and regions of the world have been submitted for the film festival. National pavilion is presented at this major film festival for the first time, organized by Uzbekistan National Film Commission.
Uzbekistan National Film Commission held a number of meetings at this festival. In particular, Reel BritProduction representatives expressed their readiness to visit Uzbekistan to discuss the future filming plan.
Meetings were also held with Turkish Film Commission, which expressed its readiness to cooperate with Uzbekistan National Film Commission. Turkish producers are interested in filming in Uzbekistan, as the country has unique architectural sights.
