The Representative Office of the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in China held a meeting with China CAMC Engineering Co., Ltd. Vice President Li Haixin and Vice President of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products Liu Chun.

Issues of further development of cooperation and implementation of projects in the chemical and metallurgical industries were discussed at the meeting.

The Chinese side was informed about the industrial modernization program being carried out in Uzbekistan, which provides for the development of related industries through the production of high-value-added products based on copper. Promising projects for implementation in the country with the involvement of foreign direct investment and advanced technologies were presented.

An agreement was reached on a joint detailed study of the possibilities of CAMCE's participation in the implementation of promising investment projects in Uzbekistan aimed at technological modernization and structural diversification of Uzbekistan’s economy.
