During the recent trip of the Rector of Samarkand International University of Technology, Professor Yusuf Abdullayev to China, memorandums of cooperation were signed with the leading educational institutions of this country – Northeast Electric Power University and Tianjin University of Science and Technology.

At the meeting with the President of the Northeast Electric Power University Cai Guowei, a Cooperation Agreement on the development of education and culture was signed with the leadership of Samarkand International University of Technology.

In accordance with the agreement, the exchange of professors, lecturers and students will be arranged. Educational systems “2+2”, “3+1’ will be introduced. For the first time, a faculty of the Chinese Institute for Energy Technologies of this University will be opened in Uzbekistan.

During the trip, the SIUT Rector met with the initiators of the international project ‘Teo, Amo kaj la Mondo, 2023-2024” (Tea, Love and Peace, 2023-2024). The parties agreed on participation in this cultural and enlightenment project of Uzbekistan representatives – students of SIUT. The Peace Teahouse is planned to be opened on the SIUT campus.
