The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou hosted a roundtable discussion, which was attended by compatriots temporarily residing in the city of Foshan.

At the meeting, its participants were informed in detail about the essence of the constitutional reform in Uzbekistan, which will serve the more stable development of Uzbekistan, improve the welfare of the population, and strengthen its influence in the world.

Confidence was expressed that citizens would demonstrate their civic position by active participation in the upcoming national referendum on amendments to the Basic Law. Once again, the importance of the vote of every citizen at the upcoming event was emphasized.

The main attention was paid to the promotion of the national values of Uzbekistan people in foreign countries through cultural and educational activities together with our compatriots and the wide celebration of the holidays of Uzbekistan.

Our compatriots stressed their readiness to implement, together with the diplomatic mission, new ideas, trade and economic projects for the development of Uzbekistan.
