On February 16-18, Uzbekistan’s Bostanlyk district will host international sports festival “Chimgan Challenge”.

Competitions in chess, badminton, snowboarding, alpine skiing, mini-football and folk games will be held.

“The festival is being held for the third time”, says a Department Head of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, deputy chief judge of the festival Zarina Abdullayeva. – Participation of representatives of ministries, agencies, enterprises and organizations is envisaged. A workshop was held within the framework of the festival. The main goal of all events is to promote a healthy lifestyle.

Almost 200 sports fans expressed their desire to take part in the festival. The number of participants is expected to reach 1,000.
