The traditional “President’s New Year Tree” event was held at the Karakalpak State Musical Theater named after Berdakh.

During the theatrical festive performances, the children were presented with Presidential gifts, consisting of New Year’s greetings from the Head of state, sweets, 3 types of teaching aids, an electronic book, a thermos and chess. 

Songs performed by artists, stage performances prepared by theater groups added a special charm to the holiday. This year, 636 orphans from the Aral Sea region, whose parents sacrificed themselves to protect the borders of the Motherland, as well as children from socially vulnerable families, receive Presidential gifts.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan A. Orinbayev. He presented the children with Presidential gifts.

“Presidential New Year Tree” events are taking place in all districts of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
