Barcelona hosts X Chessable Sunway Sitges International Chess Festival 2023.

431 chess players from 53 countries are participating in the competition with a prize fund of 28,700 euros.

Yesterday, Khumoyun Begmuradov, a young chess player from Uzbekistan, took second place among 74 participants from 29 countries, participating in a blitz in the 13/12 group. Olmos Rakhmatullayev, in a competition involving 135 chess players from 33 countries, finished second.

The championships will continue until December 22.
