Budapest hosted the 8th round of the 45th World Chess Olympiad.

Uzbekistan chess players competed with the Serbian team as part of this round.

Nodirbek Yokubboyev, Javokhir Sindorov, and Shamsiddin Vokhidov played a draw. Nodirbek Abdusattorov brought the Uzbekistan team a valuable point by beating his opponent.

Thus, the Uzbekistan national team rose to 2nd place with 14 points.

Unfortunately, the women’s team of Uzbekistan lost to the U.S. chess players.
