Moscow Drama Theater named after A.S. Pushkin presented the play “The Cherry Orchard” based on the play of the same name by Anton Chekhov on the stage of the State Academic Grand Theater of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi.

The performance, directed by Vladimir Mirzoyev, showed the change of eras, which resonates with pain in every heart. The audience was treated to a poetic and truthful picture of the collapse of human destinies against the backdrop of the empire’s decline.

The performance took place thanks to the support of the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan.
