The XXXI World University Games continue in the city of Chengdu, China.

Uzbekistan women’s saber fencing team won a bronze medal. In the bronze match, the girls beat the Italian team with a score of 45:42.

This is the fourteenth medal won by Uzbekistan athletes at the Universiade in Chengdu. The Uzbekistan delegation finished the competition with 8 silver and 6 bronze medals.
