A business forum dedicated to the development of Namangan region’s tourism potential has taken place.

The forum, organized by the Regional Department of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, was attended by about ten tourism companies from the Malaysian State of Sabah and business representatives operating in the tourism sector in Namangan.

At the forum, foreign guests were informed about the tourism potential of Namangan region. In turn, companies from Malaysia presented their country's opportunities in the tourism sector.

A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Namangan Regional Department of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and Malaysia’s Fun Holiday Tours & Travel Company.

Agreements were also reached between representatives of Namangan region’s tourism business and tourism companies in Malaysia to establish ties.

The event also included excursions to Sultan Uwais Karani and Bibi Naima Ona complexes in Chartak district and Akhsikent Open-Air Museum in Turakurgan district.
