Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva has received the Ambassador of Turkey Olgan Bekar.

According to the upper house of parliament, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of collaboration, as well as issues of further strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation.

The Ambassador of Turkey praised the large-scale democratic reforms carried out in Uzbekistan under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The parties emphasized that the development of the inter-parliamentary dialogue serves to bring Uzbekistan – Turkey cooperation to a higher level, in particular, the implementation of agreements in the trade, economic, investment, technological, cultural and humanitarian spheres reached during the high-level visits.
